Join a growing physician hospitalist program serving rural Midwest communities within easy reach of Omaha. This hospitalist role offers flexible block scheduling, a manageable census, and strong backup, with no emergency department coverage. Family Medicine and Med-Peds physicians, including new graduates, are encouraged to apply.
The Opportunity
• Solo hospitalist role with an average census of 12–15 and a plan in place for high-census days
• 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p), 14 shifts per month
• Flexible block scheduling, with options such as 5–6 day blocks or 7 on/7 off
• No ED coverage, with ED and CRNA support for procedures such as central lines and intubations
• Handoffs to physician colleagues, with telemedicine physician nocturnists covering nights
• Openings at more than one Midwest site, so you can choose the best fit
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Med-Peds; new graduates welcome and rural experience a plus
Compensation & Benefits
• Guaranteed base salary up to $340,000
• W-2 employment, with a 1099 option available
• Paid moonlighting at an additional on-site location if desired
• Optional telemedicine shifts for additional income are available
• Sleep room provided for physicians driving in
