Montage Health, a thriving multi-specialty group of 110 physicians across 20 specialties just two hours south of San Francisco in Monterey, CA is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to serve as Program Director of its new Internal Medicine Residency Program.
This physician leader will oversee the residency program's strategic direction, curriculum, accreditation, faculty development, and resident education while maintaining an active clinical practice. The Program Director will play a key role in shaping the next generation of physicians and advancing Graduate Medical Education within a highly respected healthcare organization.
The Position:
• Minimum 50% protected administrative and educational time dedicated to residency leadership.
• Maintain an active Internal Medicine clinical practice.
• Lead curriculum development, resident recruitment, faculty engagement, and program operations.
• Ensure continued ACGME-accreditation compliance and educational excellence.
• Supervise resident evaluation, advancement, and graduation processes.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, faculty, and Graduate Medical Education teams.
• Minimum three years of educational and/or administrative leadership experience required.
• California medical license eligible.
