The Position
• Unique opportunity to provide 100% pediatric anesthesia in a Level I Academic Children’s Hospital in the southern U.S.
• Anesthesia care team approach with CRNAs, typically 2-3 cases per day.
• Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship trained physicians preferred; general anesthesiologists with significant pediatric case logs will be considered
• Full time is 220 shifts per year which equates to about 8 weeks off per year.
• Opportunity to help shape a rapidly expanding anesthesia program with teaching, mentorship and research available
• Leadership focused on balance, culture, and building the right team
• Epic EMR
Compensation and Benefits
• Base compensation of $585,000 is based on 220 shifts a year; optional excess shifts are paid at $2,000 each.
• Departmental Bonus which is availably annually and is 5% of base salary
• Recruitment incentives including a signing bonus and relocation assistance
• Continuing Medical Education stipend of $5,500 per year
