An established, physician-owned ophthalmology practice serving patients throughout the Bronx, Brooklyn, and the greater New York City area is seeking a fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon to meet growing patient demand and help shape the future of the organization.
This opportunity offers much more than a traditional employed position. The incoming surgeon will join a thriving practice with a substantial referral base, robust pathology, and an owner who is actively planning for the long-term continuity and leadership of the practice.
The Opportunity
- Join a busy, established ophthalmology group with approximately 600 patient visits per week
- Immediate need for a surgically trained retina specialist
- Established referral network and built-in patient volume
- Opportunity to perform a broad range of vitreoretinal procedures
- Clinical responsibilities across New York City, including the Bronx and Brooklyn
- Hospital involvement and surgical access available
- Work alongside experienced physicians, several of whom have been with the organization for more than 20 years
- Significant opportunity to grow a retina practice without building a patient panel from scratch
